INBHC Sofia 2025 Successfully Concluded

The International Neurodegeneration and Brain Health Conference (INBHC Sofia 2025) was successfully held in Sofia, Bulgaria, from 12 to 14 September 2025, in a highly productive, engaging, and collegial atmosphere.

Distinguished researchers and clinicians from Türkiye, Bulgaria, Serbia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina convened to discuss advances in Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease, and demyelinating disorders. The conference provided an interdisciplinary forum where recent scientific innovations in diagnosis and treatment were examined alongside national healthcare capacities and social policy perspectives.

Throughout the event, participants actively exchanged ideas and shared their expertise, fostering meaningful academic dialogue and establishing lasting professional relationships. Feedback from attendees was overwhelmingly positive and strongly emphasized the importance of continuing and expanding the INBHC initiative in future years. Furthermore, growing interest has been expressed by scholars from additional countries who wish to contribute to forthcoming meetings.

In recognition of these encouraging outcomes, the Organizing Committee has resolved to convene the next International Neurodegeneration and Brain Health Conference in 2026, with the objective of engaging a broader international community and deepening collaborative research efforts in the field of neurodegeneration.

Preparations for INBHC 2026 are already underway, and further details regarding the dates, venue, and scientific program will be announced in due course.

We look forward to welcoming the global neuroscience community once again to exchange knowledge, strengthen partnerships, and advance the shared goal of promoting brain health and a healthier future for all.
